HOLLA Film Now Available to Stream for Free
Featuring straight talk from notable intellectuals as well as raw testimonials from mentors and mentees, the film explores the lives of three young women on the HOLLA basketball team, as mentorship subtly transforms their experience. “HOLLA” is an informative, humorous, and heartbreaking look at the issues that face our city and our nation, as we struggle to fulfill the promise of integration and equal opportunity.

The 4 sessions outlined here are intended to inspire groups to more personal exploration of issues touched on in the film. As we become conscious of our own experience and the factors that have shaped it, we may more easily understand the ways in which it coincides with, and differs from, the experiences of others. While fear separates us, understanding has the powerful capacity to bring us closer to the people around us -- our neighbors, our fellow citizens.
